Come Stay With Us

Amy’s place is very cute and stylish. Very easy to find. I was visiting with my son and we both liked being able to walk right downtown. In the same direction we connected with the Blackwater creek trail which connects to other trails. I got up early to run and the trails are beautiful and stretch on for miles. They are paved and felt very safe. We also enjoyed Amy’s recommendation for the bagel place at the entrance to the neighborhood. My son is 6’3 and I insisted he take the king bed. He said it was comfortable and quiet. I slept on the sofa bed which was as most sofa beds, not cushy but it wasn’t uncomfortable. In the morning, the steel plant outside is noisier but it didn’t bother me. Other than this, the steel plant wasn’t an issue and was actually interesting. We didn’t spend much time outside there as we were out exploring the area. I’d stay here again.

The pictures don’t do the view justice or truly capture how peaceful it is. My husband was worried about fully disconnecting (no wifi) but it was exactly what we needed. The place is adorable and so cozy. There was plenty to do with hiking trails, exploring the town (10mins away), and coloring, books, or relaxing- provided by Christine and Jason. I haven’t slept so well and it was truly hard to leave.
