The silo provided such a memorable stay for my girlfriends and I during a hiking trip near Lynchburg. Everything was thought of—snacks, guide, bathrobes, ear plugs, everything! The thoughtful decor and touches, the inspired idea of a silo as a retreat in general, the river views, the comfortable beds, the cleanliness, the communication, and the organization were all so impressive and made for a seamless, relaxing, easy, beautiful weekend that we’ll be talking about for a while and wanting to get back to as soon as possible. 5,000 stars. I originally booked Amy's home to see if it would work for my family for a future stay, and luck had it that my family was actually able to come up for part of this visit. The home was well-kept and well-appointed. It's plenty spacious and the furniture (especially the downstairs couch and beds) was extremely comfortable. My two children, who were able to come up, absolutely loved hanging out in the upstairs movie room and preferred taking turns sleeping up there versus the nice bedroom they had all to themselves. It's close to plenty of places that deliver and the neighborhood was really nice and quiet the entire week that we were there. I give Amy's place a 10 out of 10 and would gladly stay here again.

We stayed here with friends and had an amazing experience. Not only is the home itself beautiful, but the view from inside makes it feel like a true high-end retreat. The house is enormous and had literally everything we could possibly need. Jeff and his team were super responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything seamless and easy. It’s also perfectly curated—there’s just enough decor to make it feel warm and homey without ever feeling cluttered. Everything felt thoughtful and well put together. We’d absolutely recommend Jeff’s place and would happily stay again!

Wonderful stay and perfect for our little family. We loved the accommodations for the kids (high chair, small table, books, games, toys, crib, sound machine, etc) felt right at home!

We loved our short stay at James Station! Our stay was a birthday gift for our train obsessed three year old and she had so much fun. There were so many thoughtful details and Amy and her team were very responsive to us during our stay. The location is also super cool as it overlooks the railroad below, a factory, and the river. Thank you for a wonderful stay and birthday gift for our daughter!

Amy’s place was just as described, really nice inside comfortable, amenities we’re on point. Close to some cool restaurants, nice walking trails, etc. Would definitely stay there again.

This is one of the best Airbnb's we have stayed in. The house is absolutely beautiful and better equipped than most. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and feeding a group. This home is spacious and tasteful. The host is friendly, responsive, and accommodating. It is our favorite place to stay when we come to Lynchburg.

Christine and Jason were excellent hosts! They put so much effort into their ministry and the attention to detail truly made me feel at home. If you are looking to getaway and seek the Lord, this is the place to do it! Quiet, peaceful, no wifi and plenty of opportunity to spend time in nature at rest. So very thankful and will come back again!!
