Here's what you can expect at the Lookout: LIVING ROOM: -seating for 3-4 -electric fireplace -smart TV w/ streaming apps DINING AREA: -small dining table w/ 2 stools KITCHEN: -stainless appliances: fridge, microwave, oven/stove -stocked w/ dishes, pots/pans, glassware, etc. -Keurig and regular coffee pot DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOM: -queen bed (linens provided) FULL BATHROOM: -shower (shampoo, conditioner & body wash provided) -toilet -sink UPSTAIRS LOFT: (8 ft ceiling on one side of room and down to around 5 1/2 ft over the bed) -king bed -desk OUTSIDE DECK: -Adirondack chairs to take in the view -bistro table + 2 chairs PARKING: There's parking for 2 vehicles on a gravel driveway in front of the house. HEATING/AIR: -ductless mini split unit with remote STAIRS: The stairs to the loft are steep and without backs, so we urge guests to use caution. Anyone with mobility issues should use the downstairs queen bedroom. SO MUCH TO DO NEARBY! Other Details to Note
The home is located atop the historic Daniel's Hill neighborhood and has some of the best views in Lynchburg! Situated on the river below is a historic iron pipe factory and a railroad, so please know you may hear a train go by or some noise at the factory on occasion. Our family lives in the neighborhood and is not bothered by it, but we realize it may not be for everyone. Because those things are out of our control as hosts, if you feel it would cause you to give a less than 5 star review, please consider booking another spot, thanks!
