As foreign missionaries, we use this home on the rare occasions when we're able to sojourn "home." Here's what you can expect to find at the Manor: TV SERVICES - Live TV & Smart TV streaming services only (guests must use personal login credentials) **DOWNSTAIRS** KITCHEN -fridge, oven/range, microwave, dishwasher -Keurig + regular coffee pot -pots/pans, dishware, glasses, & everything needed to make meals -Informal dining/breakfast area for 5 LIVING ROOM -2 couches -2 swivel chairs -50" Roku TV w/ Netflix and other streaming apps including Sling which offers many cable channels! -Sorry, no use of fireplace HALF BATH -sink & toilet just off the living room FORMAL DINING ROOM -table for 6 2nd LIVING AREA -queen sleeper sofa -swivel chair -Roku TV -Wii game console w/ a few games + board games LAUNDRY ROOM -washer/dryer -iron + ironing board PRIMARY BEDROOM -king bed -dresser -walk-in closet -oversized chair -large primary bathroom PRIMARY BATHROOM -sink & large vanity -linen closet -separate room for toilet & tub/shower -towels/washcloths -shampoo, conditioner, body wash SUNROOM -daybed (twin) -nightstand w/ drawers -3 chairs, tons of windows & natural light! **UPSTAIRS** BEDROOM #1 -queen canopy bed -full size sleeper sofa -dresser & closet READING NOOK: small bookcase, chair, lamp BEDROOM #2 -two twin beds -closet & nightstand w/ drawers -dormer window with toddler swinging chair and a few toys/books -bench & wall hooks FULL BATHROOM -toilet -shower/tub combo -sink w/ large vanity & storage closet CLIMATE CONTROL: The house is heated and cooled by central heat and air. (2 zones) PARKING: There is enough off-street parking in the driveway for 4-5 cars. OUTSIDE Front: basketball goal, shaded yard Back: patio with bistro table, dining table and chairs, large yard, charcoal grill CHECK IN: Guests check in at their own convenience anytime after 4pm with a personalized code. Please note: There is a small cottage attached that the owners stay in occasionally but are often traveling. Though the two are attached, the spaces are completely separate with their own private entrances as well! You have private access to the back porch and fire pit area without worry of sharing the space! AREA DAY TRIPS: Popular day trips include hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, driving the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, visiting the Appomattox Courthouse, Natural Bridge, Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest, Virginia Safari Park, D-Day Memorial, Smith Mountain Lake and Liberty University's Snowflex Center (year-round skiing & tubing.)
